Oh man this so beautiful. I just wrote a couple poems with similar themes after sitting with Peyote for the first time. Lots of Coyote energy in this ☀️
Olivia, I’m so glad I could read this beautiful poem. Now I understand why cactus flowers have always enchanted me. They are among the most beautiful blossoms of all — despite, or perhaps because of, all the thorns and apparent inaccessibility.
Ra Uru Hu, who brought the Human Design system into the world, once said: “If you allow another person to be what they were born to be, and they allow you to be who you truly are — that is love. Everything else is suffering.”
There is something deeply moving in how you hold both the harshness and the tenderness at once. Thank you for sharing such a luminous piece. 🌵✨
Tamás, thank you so much for this incredibly heartfelt and insightful comment!
I love the Human Design, since discovering it, I’ve felt like my life has changed for the better, and if the founder stated something like that that encompasses the full self I see why.
Thank you for taking the time to read my intent with this poem in its entirety. 🦋💓
I truly believe when we create space for all to exist within us we find wholeness. Expression of both sides has been so key for me in my healing journey.
I am so glad this resonated! I am excited to read your work as well!
Beautiful, Olivia. Cacti always make me think of resilience, and your poem evoked the same, but with a bittersweet edge of longing that brings it closer 💖
Yes! I relate very feel the same about Cacti and resilience was also a key component I intended to convey in the poem. Beautiful reflection Ana, thank you 🙏❤️✨
